OT Verizon Gift Card

Apparently, I received a $300 Verizon Gift card as part of the bundle I signed up for.
Are these cards good anywhere?
I was ready to limit myself to a $450 practice drum set but it now looks like I can spend $750 and get something a lot nicer.
I don't think Verizon would give anyone $300 for no reason so I am probably going to pay this $300 off somehow. Maybe in increased monthly payments.

Yes, Verizon Reward Card, Debit Visa.
If I can use it on drum equipment, I will spend it all.

Lorenzo, I received a 50 dollar one recently. They can be used anywhere, mine was used without question in Disney World just last week. Just ensure you sign it.

It's "free money" for signing a contract with the merchant or company issuing the card to you. dtk explained the dynamic of it very succinctly. The issuance of this type of gift card is awin/win/win for the consumer, the merchant selling you stuff charged to the card, and the company that gave you the card because you signed a contract for their services.
