I just got this.We shot this in August at a local music festival. I'm using my white Superstar and my DW thin walled aluminum 6.5x14.

your singer is really good, nails the tone and of course the drums are spot on

Thanks Steve. There are some clunkers in there but all in all as a promo video, I think it will work. Like I've said, this band is so much fun. All the players are such good people. Not an attitude to be seen. Too bad our bass player is leaving soon.He had a massive heart attack a year ago and he is checking off his bucket list because of it. Next bucket item? To move to Mexico without any plan... :-O We all think it's crazy but it is what it is.

Do you veer off into Petty projects or songs related to him (like he sang back up on).
Anyway one that comes to mind you could get away as being "Petty" is..
Is this one.. " One Headlight" could be a ball to play if you don't already..

We veer usually when it comes to if Petty played the song live. For example, Psychotic Reaction or Raindy Day Woman or Kicks and Stepping Stone by PR & the Raiders. We also do Stevie Nicks stuff and of course Travelling Wilbury's. I think One Headlight would be a tad off of what we're trying to accomplish. You know, the Jangly Thing ;-) Thanks is a great song with a great groove. I've played it many times but not in the Jangle.

Read the way that fella wrote that song was, on his way over to the studio " he heard a Tom Petty song on the radio' and kind of inspired that tune (one headlight) so a stretch but 'some sorta connection/ gotcha Dan

Oh, you're right. I'll make the suggestion! Thanks!

Nice vid. I always enjoy when members share their media clips. Typically provides motivation as well as ideas. Plus it's just fun to see/hear what guys are up to.

I just happened upon this. Really good video Dan - the whole band is smiling and energetic, the crowd is into it, and you have lots of different ages of people diggin' the music. Nice drumming and drums. I have heard many drummers play "American Girl" without the proper energy and the song just sags- you nail it here.

Thanks Ben. I really enjoy every gig I play with these guys. I just found this video cost us bubkus. A friend of the leader did it.
