Sabian AA Regular Hi Hat weights?

Are older Sabian AA Regular Hi Hats supposed to be near-equal weights or medium/heavy like Zildjian New Beats?

Their pretty heavy, especialy the bottom. I made this video of my Sabian AA regular 14'', i like the sound a lot.

I have Zildjian New Beats and Sabian Regular Hats. They're virtually identical in terms of weight and sound. The Regular Hats are just a tiny bit brighter than the New Beats.

Thanks for the replies. A couple of years ago I purchased an older AA Medium HH 837g top with a mismatched 785g "bottom" that was supposed to be a legit pair. It obviously isn't a bottom, looks like a Sabian or Zildjian but has no stamp or markings. Since starting this thread I purchased a true AA Bottom from forumite speady1. It is 1410g so I now have a complete pair.

Love my AA regulars. Some of the best hats you can buy. Versatile and easy to play. I think their sound even better with some age on them. Mine have mellowed out ever so slightly and fit right in the mix.
