So I just got myself a Tama Dyna Sync double pedal. I have the single and I love it so I finally found a used double at a great price. I'm not good with my feet by any means but I read comments about how the Trick is such an improvement for any slave pedal. What makes the Trick drive shaft better than the stock

I'm no science geek but I can make an educated guess. Is it the fact that it is more resistant to twisting when energy is applied to the pedal?

My left foot needs a lot of work so I'm trying to understand what things I can control with technique versus any mechanical improvements to help with my learning curve.

Way less friction and play in the joints…slave will feel identical to the master pedal. A must have item if you want optimal performance from the pedal.

Good info to know. Looks like they are out of stock everywhere so I'll just have to keep an eye out for one.

Way less friction and stiffer both. @bchamp is right, it's got a much better set of bearings instead of simple u-joints.

Be careful to get the version for Tama pedals as the more common DW version is different.

The ACD Unlimited Ultimate universal drive shaft which fits the dynasyncs is currently in stock.

Everyone I've seen online prefers it to the Trick but it costs a little more.

Only available new from Dennis Namesnik, the designer and maker.

Yeah, I'm not sure I want to pay that much for it with international shipping and currency conversion fees on top of it when it is around $250 bucks to begin with.
