I recently acquired a 24" K Con. It was described as a Medium Thin Low model. I've had two 22" versions without bendy edges. I also know the alloy is softer. I've seen Paiste Trads with the waves in the past. This is a like new cymbal with the exception of that. Cause for concern?

sometimes the hammer hits right on the edge, not uncommon. I wouldn't worry.

Let's clarify. Are you saying that you can bend your cymbal easily by applying a little pressure to it when it's in your hands? Or are the edges actually bent - won't lie flush on a flat surface?

I should've been clearer. My post can be intepreted many ways, haha. I like a cymbal that wobbles when struck...

But what I'm talking about is the edges of the cymbal have a wave (not bent). Kinda like a sound edge hi hat but more subtle.

Hmm. Well, if it's good, it's good. I wouldn't imagine it being any more prone to damage.

I'm pretty certain it's hammering at this point. Sounds sweet!
