well...after many convo's with ramy, i've gone and done it...A&F 20/12/14, 4x14 snare in featherweight aluminums with a 4x6 brass timbo snare...i haven't had to WAIT for a set of drums since my last endorsement with FIDOCK, and that was in 2009!!! this is gonna be frustrating, but the pot of 'gold (orange)' should be well worth it...

Not much lately except the usual expendables. But on my last LDS stop I've decided to buy some VF Corpsmaster sticks. They sure kick the pre-show warmups into overdrive. Regular 5As feel like feathers after that.

Read today in Geddy Lee book, how Neil showed up for audition with 18 Roger's bass drums. Made me happy that I just completed setting my 18 floor into kick with added kickport I got on list

Found a great local shop today and snagged a 19" HHX Evo to replace the HHX complex in my setup that I never really vibed with.

Used top 13" K hi hat for my K/Z pair. This one is natural finish, so less bright than the brilliant one. Nice to have the two different options.

Cool Maxwin (Pearl) 'Funky 405' 70's concert tom set. Got for dirt cheap off of FB (the guy even delivered it). Used it recently for a recording project, which required that sound. Lots of fun to play.

Finally added a 10x6 tom to my Inde WaFarer kit. Also purchased; DW 3000 single tom stand, Gauger RIM's mount and Aquarian clear Studio X batter tom heads. I've used these heads for a while now, very underrated, imo. They're kind of like a cross between a Emp and pinstripe, kill a bit of unwanted overtones, but not too much. They fatten up the sound nicely. Cheap and durable, too.

Picked up an ACD Phantom. It's exactly what I hoped. I had much mental debate over the Phantom vs Darwin. I preferred the phantom design. I love the balance of engineering, features, and efficiency. Feels & plays great.
