Last drum purchase was a used 3 peice Tama Starclassic. I'm not sure I would have ordered one in this color, but it's growing on me. It's called Molten Brown Burst. I've since switched out all the heads. It was set up on the floor at the shop and it's been wailed on. I played it a few times before I took it home with me.

What's your thoughts on the kit? Sound wise.

What's your thoughts on the kit? Sound wise.
It really is pretty ideal for what I’m currently doing—-which is mostly worship music. My old kit was a Gretsch that sounded nice, but it was a smaller setup.
I’ve seen a lot of Ludwig kits on worship stages, but the Tama just sounded right to me.
I am really pleased with it. I tried it a few times on the floor and always left thinking that it should be in my backseat. Finally, I brought it home.
I have it tuned pretty low and it sounds huge.

I am a sucker for a pretty face and have been saving so this 14" Zebra wood 24ply Dixon Artisan snare drum will be sent to me in coming days. These are designed by Brady and I have one of this brand before. I like thick shells and wood hoops....US$ 248 inclusive of shipping ,,,

Since we have a thread like this for cymbals, why don't we have one for drums and everything else drum related?

Here are my purchases/arrivals over the last 3 months:

And I scooped this one up last night. I had been lusting for a solid shell snare drum and the price dropped to the point where I couldn't say no.

Behringer XR18 digital mixer:

IMG_6738.jpg

Im still on the fence with it.
It is an awesome and capable mixer, build as a handy/compact stagebox .
But I still have to get used to tablet/smartphone/PC only control (with its connection procedure/dropouts)
I still prefer the direct/analog controls & motorized faders of my X32 compact mixer.

Engraved Cadeson Titanium 14x6.5 snare. I’ve been wanting a titanium snare for a while and this one kind of grabbed me. I’ll be gigging with it tomorrow night and post an update as to how it went. The bonus that I didn’t see in the ad for the drum is the Mother of Pearl inlays on the nodes of the tube lugs.
