So currently we have a meinl 16" crash, 14" hihat, 20" ride and 16" HHX crash a Tama club jam. The drummer is very small (7 yr old) so we are not getting bigger drum sets.
Her drum teacher said shed be fine with what we have, but in her class there are like 10 cymbals LOL so I'm thinking of adding another one.. which cymbal should be more beneficial? splash? china?
She plays mostly rock and some metal.

nice.. getting a china from China makes sense! what size would work with his small setup?

Maybe a 14" or 16"? Do you have a local shop where you can try some out?
I don't think our local shop carries wuhan cymbal. tons of Sabian, Zildjian. some paste and meinl. Price isn't that much of an issue, anywhere $100-$300 us dollar rish is ok. But I like the idea of getting a china from its origin. Or I may just bring my daughter to a gear shop and let her select her own.

so what's the with the china with a lot of holes? which one should I get first?

yeah with China's brand and line isn't soo important. You could look/listen to some of the student lines...before you spend a lot.

her teacher supports the china idea as well... lets see what she picks...

I’d go for a second crash cymbal since there’s only one in there .

We already have two. I picked the first one Meinl pure alloy custom 16" and my daughter picked HHX 16" later

Maybe proof read your post then . Because it says you have two rides and one crash . Or (crush) rather . So in reality there no crash at all . It’s two rides and a crush .

I guess one needs to be a mind reader or a code breaker to decipher your post .
