Oh, Stephen!
I'm in shock and so heartbroken by this. I sincerely hope everything gets better for you and fam in the coming months.
I truly feel for you all.

I can speak for many of us here - my heart breaks for you guys but so glad no one was hurt. Your collection was a jewel and there was none like it. If I see any George Way drums in the wild you will hear about it first. I'm sure others on here will do the same. In the meanwhile my thoughts are with all of you as you rebuild and recover.

"NO WAY."... Last thing anyone expected to hear about your collection. Really tough losing such rare gear.

Really sorry to hear about that, but glad to hear the family is OK.

And Ronn Dunnett is a generous dude.

Like the others, I am so sorry for the loss to your family of the home and so many possessions. We all understand perspective and do not equate the safety of your family with the loss of material goods, yet now that the family is safe, I think it is appropriate to morn your loss. And about all we can do is morn with you over this. But as Amosguy said... now the next hunt is on! So to you and your family, we pray and hope for strength and comfort as you rebuild... and for you to find even better pieces over time. Let the adventure begin!

So glad your son got out of the disaster alive. You sound like your priorities in life are spot on !! If you want to contact me, I will send you some cymbals to make the transition easier, comps from a caring DFO brother. Seriously. Bill Galbraith

Bill,
Thanks! You’re kind gesture is enough to make me cry. My favorite cymbals were in a bag. They smell a little smoky but they are fine.

Thanks to all my brothers & sisters here on DFO. You all make this hard journey ahead easier.

Steve

Hey Stephen like everyone else, my thoughts are with you and your family hope the rebuilding of your home goes well and y'all can begin to get back to somewhat of a normal life soon. Glad the family is ok!

Sorry to hear about this. Worry not about what was lost, be thankful for what was saved.
Talk with your son. Help him clear his mind. He could be feeling guilt that is overwhelming. Rebuild your home. Home is base.
