Picked up a crash just under 18” from my buddy John Miranda, who is making cymbals out of Long Beach, CA. I also have a 20 and 22 coming.

He learned under Heather Stine, among others.
Used the crash at a gig last night, and I’m excited to hear the set.

Dark, angry spread with a brighter stick than I was expecting. Can’t wait to order some hats.

John’s cymbals have been on my radar for a while now. Let us know how this one matures.

Just got surprised with the 20, this one has a hand formed bell.
Much more tension than the 18, but he kept the weight down. The middle of the bow is also a little bit thinner than the rest of the cymbal.

So far I have a 22”, the 20” and an 18”

Clip below, please use headphones, these sound wild.

Everyone has their own tastes/preferences. I don't care for them. Too wet / thin. I appreciate their beauty and all the work that goes into them, but sound is most important factor.
I predict many would agree with my opinion once the 'new/different' sound/appeal wears off.

I specifically asked for cymbals that sound like this.
This isn’t his standard build.

I have my trans stamps for pretty/delicate sounds, why would I need another set of the same?

I applaud your tact which prevents contention. Glad you like em! Love it when our forum works as it should. Thanks brother!
