The discrepancy in shipping also stands out as a possible red flag to me ("FREE SHIPPING" vs. the $42 Amazon lists). Considering Amazon itself regularly features deals that beat these prices anyway, I agree, it's not worth the risk.

Went ahead and grabbed the 14" - I have an orphan 14" Sabian that I was going to sell as a pair with a Zildjian bottom, but I feel like they'd sell better if the top and bottom were a matching brand, so at $36, it's worth it, I suppose

yep, the 16's are gone. it was a pair. list is $676. cheapest I can find them anywhere online is $379. So even if I flip them for around $300, I come out out smelling like a rose. Might make a pretty nice crash, though. It says multi purpose in the cymbal description. That's still a great price on that 14" AA crash, but I'm not a big fan of thin.

Those hats were interesting... The part number was for HHx fierce hats, but the description seemed like hh hats with ridges.

I'm sure you'll get something, but I'm curious what it will be

Yeah, I used the product number and searched YouTube, but I kept seeing the Fierce Hats. No matter, Amazon has a great return policy. Sometimes I get to keep the product and get my money back.

I got the Liberty blue sparkle snare today. It came packed really well, headed really well, looking really well, and sounding really well after a quick tuning. It's easily the best drum I've owned, and has dethroned the brass early 70s Rogers Dynasonic that has been my main kit snare for awhile. It sounds like a million bucks, and not the $292 (total) I paid for it.

Probably my biggest score from being in this forum. Cheers!

PS: the Liberty kit listed above is now down to $1680, and the black sparkle kit is now down to $1565.

I'm not that familiar with sabian big & ugly. I think this may be the cheapest in that series?
